The Team
Project SMART is a highly interdisciplinary team of neuroscientists, biomedical, electrical and material engineers, physicians, surgeons, and rehabilitation medicine researchers. In addition to our core team members we collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, clinicians, government agencies, and industrial and non-profit partners. The team is subdivided into five working groups:

- Gait (Standing and Walking)
- Embedded Recording Systems
- Somatosensory Restoration
- Embedded Electrodes
