Vincent Gaudet, Ph.D., PEng

Dr. Gaudet completed his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto.  Prior to moving to the University of Waterloo, Dr. Gaudet spent 8 years as a member of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta.  Dr. Gaudet’s research group focuses energy efficient on information-processing microsystems, in part for biomedical applications.  Dr. Gaudet’s group is applying their expertise in energy efficient circuits to developing low-power, implantable circuits for processing signals from the dorsal root ganglion.  These signals will then be transmitted to a wireless recording and control unit to modify intraspinal implant stimulation as required.
